We apply our broad scientific and technology capabilities to all aspects laboratory automation, including: sample handling, liquid-handling. compound screening, assay development, data management, informatics,and computer vision. We are happy to enter into straight fee-for-service relationships with customers, where the customer retains all intellectual property associated with the work we carry out. However, many of our customers, especially biotech and pharma companies, believe that we add more value to projects by making use of our extensive portfolio of intellectual property, and so prefer to enter into more collaborative relationships (see Collaborations). The benefits to such partners is that they get high-quality solutions, on shorter time-scales, at lower cost.

Typically our fee-for-service work is with larger automation companies including in those operating in non-biotech/pharma domains e.g. in the cosmetics industry. Our customers find that our broad experience across multiple technology and scientific areas allow us to tackle problems that other are not equipped to solve optimally.
